The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers’ Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) has commended H.E Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam for “outstanding performance in strategic areas of human development”.

In a letter of commendation signed by its General Secretary Comrade A.U Akpausoh, the Union cited “unprecedented achievements” in the provision of basic infrastructure and services such as roads, schools, hospitals, prompt payment of workers’ salaries and pensions and re-positioning of the media and cultural sectors as speaking volumes of the governor’s “administrative acumen”.

“The multiplier effects of your achievements on the socio-economic development of Yobe State are milestones that cannot be forgotten in a hurry. This is what purposeful and visionary leadership can do to impact the lives of the people”, the letter said.

RATTAWU assured the governor that it would remain a partner in enhancing the development of the broadcast media, art and cultural sectors of the state.
