The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its attempt to reconcile party members ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The PDP in a statement signed on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, described the move as laughable, stressing that no amount of effort will stop Nigerians from voting out the party.
It also accused the APC of failing to live up to its promises in nearly four years, yet, rather than trying to right the wrongs, the party is more interested in running in the coming elections.
Furthermore, the party said the disagreements in the APC are fallouts of members’ resentment towards its desperation for power.
The APC, however, believes that with Tinubu’s intervention, all aggrieved members will be reunited, making the party fit to run in the coming elections.
