Borussia Dortmund chief executive has claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will only entertain offers from La Liga giants Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Aubameyang is under contract with the Bundesliga side until June 2020 but the club’s star striker has attracted interest from a host of Europe’s top teams.
The Gabon striker has previously spoken of his desire to play for La Liga leaders Madrid to fulfil a promise to his grandfather.
‘I think he will stay with us’, Watze said on Sport1’s Doppelpass programme.
‘But if Real Madrid or Barcelona come along with an offer, maybe he’ll think about it.
‘The rest of the clubs who are interested in him are not really an alternative for him. And certainly not Bayern because we wouldn’t allow him join them’.
Aubameyang ended last season as the second top scorer in the Bundesliga with 25 goals, five adrift of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
This season, the Dortmund striker has already has 25 goals, one behind Lewandowski.
Aubameyang and his club team-mates are currently preparing for their last-eight Champions League first-leg clash with Monaco on Tuesday night.
