The African Queens series looks specifically at the icons of African history and lessons learnt from their legacies.

The series kicks off with The Legacy of Queen Yaa Asantewa on 4th October, exploring the life and times of Queen Yaa Asantewa, the famous Ashanti Queen of Ghana and the courageous leadership role she played in confronting British colonial rule in the late 19th and early 20th century.
