Gov. Ahmed Approves Deployment of LG Liaison Officers

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has approved the deployment of the newly appointed liaison officers for the sixteen local government councils in the State.

Alhaji Isiaka Gold, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) made this known in a statement issued on Thursday in Ilorin, the State capital.

The SSG said that Oba Babatunde (Asa LG) was posted to Ilorin-East LG, Sulaiman Ismaila (Baruten LG) was posted to Patigi LG, Alh. Ndakpotun Mohammed Shonga (Edu LG) was posted to Baruten LG, Ope Adeojo (Ekiti LG) was deployed to Irepodun, while Hon. Zhiri Moses (Ifelodun LG) was posted to Moro.

Also, Alhaji Gold disclosed that Shehu Salaudeen Ismaila (Ilorin-East LG) was deployed to Ilorin-West, Moshood Onila (Ilorin-South) was posted to Asa LG, Tijani Olarewaju Abdullateef (Ilorin-West) was deployed to Ilorin-South, while Chief Joseph Oyeniyi Jimoh (Irepodun LG) and Hon. Abdulsalam Jamiu (Isin LG) were posted to Isin and Oyun LGs respectively.

He added that Mohammed Umar Bappa (Kaima LG) was deployed to Edu LG, Amonda Bilikis Motunrayo (Moro) to Ifelodun LG, Bakare Sarafa Abayomi (Offa LG) to Oke-Ero LG, Bukoye Waheed Oloyede (Oyun LG) to Ekiti LG, Olaiya Olarewaju Micheal (Oke-Ero LG) to Offa and Alhaji Aliyu Moh’d Legbo (Patigi LG) to Kaiama LG.

The SSG reiterated that the appointments of the liaison officers and youth empowerment coordinators were in line with the desire of Governor Ahmed to deepen inclusiveness in governance and boost youth empowerment in the state.

He, therefore, urged the appointees to make use of the opportunity to better serve their people.
